"Consistent with asset management guidance provided by the Real Property Management Council and Executive Order 13327, FEMA was one of the first federal entities to compile complete and accurate real property facility inventories and condition assessments. Managers and associates from Keres Consulting have been working closely with us to update, maintain and augment our Real Property Management System and we value their commitment to developing timely and creative solutions that help clients achieve mission success."

"I just wanted to take this opportunity to say how much CEU Miami appreciates your efforts and the quality of work you produce. Over the past year, the Asset Reviews completed by you and your team have been invaluable.  In addition to identifying underutilized or excess property, the assemblage of real property information into the detailed package you produce has helped refine our files and make property information more accessible; allowing us to answer many customer and congressional questions with ease.  Thank you for all of your work and I look forward to continuing this enterprise.”

Within the technical and administrative support from Keres Consulting, Incorporated, DoD has developed a database known as the Native American Environmental Tracking System (NAETS). NAETS is a web based database where tribal governments and other interested parties may report and view environmental impacts on Indian lands that they suspect are the result of DoD activities. Keres maintains the database in an exemplary manner, which includes DoD's progress in reviewing the reports of impacts, actions taken to mitigate these impacts, and the projected costs to complete mitigation activities. Keres is most proficient in its care of the database and makes it possible for DoD to meet this key provision of the Congressional mandate."

We also appreciate the quality of work that Betty and her associates (at Keres) consistently produce.  We in GSA have also used the asset reviews for many strategic decisions.  As you probably know, GSA has been under a major portfolio restructuring initiative for the past few years, and the asset review is an invaluable tool for us in determining which assets are indeed "assets” and which we need to dispose of… Betty, thank you and your team so much for your service to both us and USCG Miami Civil Engineering Unit (CEU).”

"The knowledgeable staff at Keres never fails to provides reliable, efficient support to our District’s Native American Lands Environmental Mitigation Program (NALEMP). I’d recommend them highly.”

  • Kathleen S. Anderson
    Program Manager
    Los Angeles District
    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

I am very pleased with the administrative, managerial, and technical support that I receive from Keres Consulting, Incorporated. I manage DoD’s multi-million dollar Native American Lands Environmental Mitigation Program (NALEMP), a Congressionally directed initiative to address environmental impacts on Indian lands resulting from DoD activities. As a support contractor, Keres is a strong performer in helping me manage NALEMP. Keres has helped me ensure that program objectives are met within critical timelines and implements decisions in a high quality manner. Due to the nature of NALEMP funding, Keres must annually review environmental impact reports, analyze tribal eligibility requirements for funding, and provide technical assistance to DoD project managers to negotiate cooperative agreements between DoD and tribes to address these impacts.

"Keres analyzes DoD policy and program issues of interest to the Native American community, drafts policy statements, facilitates training of DoD personnel, and conducts strategic meetings and conferences. Keres recently provided technical and administrative support for the development of a DoD Instruction for implementing the DoD American Indian and Alaska Native Policy and is currently supporting the development of a DoD Consultation Protocol for DoD interactions with Native Hawaiian Organizations.

"Keres uses its demonstrated knowledge and expertise in environmental management coupled with a full understanding of the DoD mission to support my overall responsibilities as DoD’s Senior Tribal Liaison."
