James A. Peterson has more than 35 years
experience dealing with complex property management, security,
marketing and contracting issues in both the public and
private sectors.
He has held a number of high level Federal positions
including functioning as the senior career official and Head
of Contracting Activity for GSA’s New England Region. Over the
course of his career, he was Director of six different GSA
divisions including Contract Management, Real Estate
Acquisition (with a staff of 72 controlling more than 6
million square feet of space in six states) and the Property
Disposal Zone Office (having a $100 million inventory covering
14 states plus Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
After a 26 year Federal career, Mr. Peterson became Vice
President, Senior VP and ultimately President of a highly
successful property management and environmental firm
providing nationwide services to public and private entities.
Mr. Peterson’s degree is in Economics and he has completed
numerous graduate and professional programs. He is a Certified
Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) and is licensed as a
real estate broker in both MA and FL.
